Eco-chic kitchen design and build
2005
Space optimised for easy cleaning and best flow. Child and dog-friendly. Worktop and floor designed to be quiet and less likely to smash a dropped glass or plate. Subtle ‘behavioural influencers’ to encourage water conservation and energy saving, i.e. placing the coat hooks behind the passage door faciltates closing this door when coming and going, thereby retaining the heat. Worktop CNC machined from compressed sheets of recycled plastic yoghurt pots. Towel rail made from bicycle handlebars. Coat and bag hooks made from old taps. Cabinet frames refurbished from old kitchen carcasses. Vanity mirror up-cycled from car rear-view mirror.
